Four Rooms in my Heart.

Poetry by Keith Ndlovu

The first room is the blackroom,
It is filled with portraits of me crying,
And memories of how I lost my self in the name of love.
Black tiles surround the room,
And they remind me of how I gave people my heart,
And received it back broken,
This is a room I want to keep shut and never open .

The second is the purple room,
It is filled with all toxic love I received,
It is dominated by picture frames of me weeping ,
And how I almost gave up in love .
The room has purple curtains ,
The curtains remind me of how people __
Enclosed their hearts while I kept mine bare for them.
This is a room I want us to keep shut and never open.

The third is the Green room,
It is filled with a smile and heartbreak,
It reminds me of how I was always made an option_
Instead of being a priority,
The room has potraits of me down faced,
And also has quotes of how much I hate infidelity.

The last is the red room ,
This is a room I have kept for the Empress of my heart,
It has frames which are yet to be filled with romance.
Red roses dominate the room
And this is a room I always open
And it reminds me of how I am yet to be someone’s_
Morning dew .
And how I will welcome the Queen of my heart to my _
Endearing arms,
The room of the door has five words,
Words written _

I will always love you.
